| Armenian Earth | Terra Armenius | 6 drops |
| Nutmeg oil | Oleum Myristicae |
Preparation:
Powder the Chalk, Crabs Eyes and Claws and Armenian Earth separately, then mix together. Beat with the Sugar, sprinkling the Oil in and keep the Powder.
Function:
Clears Stomach Heat
Use:
1. Stomach Pain
2. Acid reflux and Acid regurgitation
Dose:
1⁄2–1 dram in a glass of cool water.
Cautions:
Not suitable for cold and weak Digestion.
Modifications:
1. In this case, Shell powder, such as Oyster shell can replace the Crab Eyes and Crab claws.
2. Half dram of Nutmeg can replace the Nutmeg oil.
3. Some versions added Licorice powder.
This is a forerunner to modern antacids. It was credited with relieving severe Stomach pain quickly, however it should not be used long-term.
