Fennel seed	Foeniculum vulgare

Function:

Clears Phlegm, stops Cough

Use:

1. Cold-type Cough
2. Chest Pain

Dose:

1 dram

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. Annis can be used in place of Fennel seed.
2. Licorice can be added with benefit
