Function:

Open Obstructions, clears Heat, softens to resolve Hardness

Use:

Hardness (sclerosis) of Kidney, associated with Heat. It may be used for hardness of other organs associated with Heat.

Dose:

3 drams with Syrup of Violets

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

This is more cooling and opening compared to the Powder for Hardness of the Kidneys of Alexander Benedictus.
