Lapis lazuli prepared	Lapis Azureus praeparata	2 scruples

Function:

Clears Heat, resists Poison, calms the Mind

Use:

1. Lyconthropy (delusion of being an animal, especially a wolf)
2. Raving
3. Madness

Dose:

1–2 drams morning and night

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

This formula was listed for Lycanthropicis. Lycanthropy means Wolfman, or Werewolf, however, in the present context it will refer to the madness associated with the delusion of being an animal, particularly a Wolf. This is related to the trdaitional folklore of Werewolves.
