Function:
Strongly Moves the Blood, opens Obstruction, eases Pain
Use:
1. Amenorrhea
2. Dysmenorrhea
3. Fixed, sharp Pain associated with Blood Stagnation
4. This could be useful for Gynecological tumors such as Uterine Fibroids and Ovarian Cysts.
Dose:
1⁄2–1 dram in wine
Cautions:
1. Not used during Pregnancy
2. This is a strong formula for use in strong bodies. It is not suitable for use in cases with Blood deficiency.
Modifications:
The Birthwort can be replaced with Zedoary in this formula.
