Parsnip seed	Pastinaca sativa	5 oz.
White Sugar	Saccharum album	1 dram
Deer or Bull Pizzle	Genitalis Cervii	1 1⁄2 drams
Deer Mushroom	Boletorum Cervi	6 grains
Cantharides prepared	Canatharis

Function:

Warms and strengthens the Kidneys

Use:

1. Impotence, Premature Ejaculation
2. Aphrodisiac

Dose:

1⁄2–1 dram in a suitable vehicle

Cautions:

Cantharides are highly irritant and would not be added today. However, it does demonstrate a suitable way to use Cantharides internally. If they were to be used, the dose must be strictly adhered to.
