Astringent, clears Heat, stops Bleeding
Use:
Bleeding from Heat
1. Hematuria
2. Spitting Blood
3. Blood in the Stool
4. Uterine Bleeding
Dose:
Take 1 dram (to 2 drams) with Sumac infusion, taken for 7 days

None noted
Modifications:
Pharmacopoeia Persica (1681) had the same formula called “Powder for Bloody Urine”. It added Purslane seed and Cuparosa (Vitriol Cyprii, Cyprian Vitriol, Chalcanthite)
