Tabasheer is silica traditionally collected from species of Bamboo.
Our Tabasheer is the Blue-grey variety composed of small pieces.
NOTE:
Due to its high silica content, care must be taken not to breathe the dust of Tabasheer when powdering. We advise to powder in a grinding machine with other herbs with which it is used in formula. It can also be ground to a fine paste with water in a mortar, then dried to add to other herbs.
