Preparation:
Bruise the seeds and boil in 3 lbs. of a decoction made of 1โ2. ounce each of Lentil and Coriander seed until 2 lbs. has been consumed. Strain, and add 2 oz. of Lemon juice, and 1 1โ2 lbs. of White Sugar, and make a Syrup according to Art.
Function:
Clears Heat, astringes and Stops Bleeding
Use:
1. Spitting of Blood
2. Spermatorrhea
3. Leukorrhea
4. Catarrh
5. Excessive Menstruation
6. โUterine Furyโ otherwise called โMadness of the Wombโ; emotion, hysteria or rage and anger associated with Hormones as seen in adolescents, during PMS or Menopause.
7. Cools the heat of Lust
Dose:
1โ1 1โ2 oz. in a cooling vehicle such as Lettuce or Poppy water
