Preparation:
Powder the dry ingredients; Wash the Raisins, heat in 2.5 liters of water until soft, then hand rub and force through a sieve, then heat with the sugar syrup. When reduced enough, remove from the fire and add the powders, stirring well.
Function:
Deobstruent, Aperient; regulates Wind
Use:
1. Epilepsy2. Apoplexy
Dose:
10-15 grams, once daily, morning or night
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
According to some versions, there is 100 grams of Chebulic Myrobalan, 25 grams each of Pyrethrum and Peony, 250 grams of Raisins, and 900 grams of Sugar Syrup.
